Is this unusual?

How about older EE's? I have one that is going to be 3 (I think, a neighbor gave her to me) maybe 4 and she was laying one every other day or so until she molted last October. She hasn't laid an egg since!

Do they quit at 3 or maybe 4 years old? Do they start in again after stopping for 5 months?
She gets layer feed and BOSS as scratch and sometimes scrambled eggs. Feed has been like that since I got her a year ago. I deworm regularly. Wonder what's wrong?

Hi! My EE is very light sensitive, and does just take a break now and then. We don't really care if she stops all together, she is the pet of the bunch...but definitely erratic with the egg laying. The light did help, though.

yeah i abserved that the EE are later to lay eggs than normal brown egg layers and they go on and off more then them too
