Hello, my khaki Campbell hens feathers are not looking ok. Is this wet feather or just damage? There has been some Drake chasing happening on and off by other “groups”. Everyone is “twitterpated” right now 🤦🏻‍♀️ lol. If it is… I can’t figure out the cause as we have a natural pond and a small man made pond so water is always around.

That looks like old feathers with drake damage to me. My youngest girls did not molt their wing feathers until their second winter. They had feathers like yours before they molted. It won’t hurt anything except their ability to fly.

Ahh I feel relieved by your response! They haven’t molted since winter and have this really light white tone that they normally don’t have. So makes sense! They just turned one not long ago, so also haven’t had their second winter.
