YES!!! I was right we have a leghorn.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do that for us. My daughter is in for a shock in the morning when I tell her...LOL

Thanks Again, I appreciate it.

Dang, I thought I had it right.....OH well I'll give it 3 weeks and then maybe we will know something more.

Ssssshhhh......I was secretly wanting a leghorn because I hear they lay really good. My daughter might not be all that happy because she wants colored eggs but I'll be happy no matter what.

When we ordered Easter Eggers from a hatchery 3 or so years ago, one was a light yellow with almost a fluourescent green tinge to it. She was not the golden yellow most chicks that grow to be white are.
She matured into a color that at casual glance is white. Upon closer inspection she is a pale cream color.
She looks fairly leghorn-ish to me, so I have assumed that she has a good dose of that in her parentage. And does she lay big beautiful colored eggs!
Hope yours turns out well for you, too.

We also had a pale yellow chick. Thought she was one of the Delawares or Buff Orpingtons, but she's turned into a gorgeous white/pale lemon EE. She's actually our EE that's closest to being a real Ameraucana.

What color are your chick's legs? If you look closely, are they a bit greenish? That would be another sign along with the puffy cheeks that the chick's an EE.

We have 2 EE's in our flock. They are completely different from one another. One of them is totally white. She had a greenish tint to her legs and puffy cheeks when she was a chick. Here is a picture of her.
