I ahve a brooder that has caught fire a few months back. I ahve been putting new chicks down in it. can it be jkilling my chick? They live to be about 2 to 3 days old. I ahve the front bloacked off so they have no drafts plus I have on the floor newspaper with pine shvings on top. with an heat lamp in the middle with an 100 watt bulb. I ahve been losing chciks like crazy. I even took my 12 mille and my 1 polish taht hatch out and gave to a friend that has allways had good luck raising chicks and everyone of them has died. pictures of my brooder can be seen here https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=258227&p=1 should I start building a new brooder? Someone else told me it might be my inubator so I'm going to give it a good cleaning tonight.
