Is this white silkie a paint?

From what I hear, the difference between paint and splash is this;

In a paint, the ENTIRE feather will be black, as opposed to in a splash where the colored feather will still be partially white. Therefore that looks like splash to me...

I have no clue. I think you should be able to just look at the feather?

Don't clip him just part his feathers near the spot and see what color it is from body to tip of feather.

I plucked a new feather, it is black from the bottom to the top. But his spots are so sparse I think he's just a splash.

Definitely looks like a "washed out" splash to me! Pretty though!
