Is this worms?

When I first wrote this, it was on my phone. I put 'Choriza' and it autocorrected to chorizo. It is spelled Coryza.

Her sister died from this (they were both new to my coup, so I didn't recognize early signs of 'seeming different'). So, I started treating this one right away, as well as my other hens who had been exposed to the one who died. One of them had started acting slightly 'not like herself.' She is perfectly well. I gave them all erythromycin (tylan).

Tylan is Tylosin, it's in the same family of drugs as erythromycin, they are both macrolide antibiotics, I think. I have no experience with Coryza, I've only used Tylan once and I've never used erythromycin, so I'm not qualified to recommend anything, really. But if I were in your shoes and the bird was stable enough to be handled without the risk of it dying I would worm it with Safeguard at 50mg/kg by mouth (.5ml per 2.2 pounds).

We've removed all the intestinal pieces so that we'll know for sure if it happens again that it's new. I don't know how stable she is. She's weak, but she's been sick (first with a very bad illness) for 3 weeks (maybe more, as I said, I didn't know her well enough to recognize signs). So, she may just be exhausted.
