Guess I'd better stop paddling up the River Denial and find Dwayne a home. My husband wants to wait until he crows just to be sure (he says the water's fine!).

But there's an outside chance he won't crow. If he's such a charming little boy, I'd hang onto him and see if he presents a problem or not.

Update on Dixie/Dwight:

Well, he started crowing! And he kept on crowing! So now he is living with a nice couple in the country who understand that he was pretty much a pet and they'll give him a good home. He started out as a little runt and was the friendliest of my group (which is now 4 pullets) but we're all adjusting, lol!
