Is Two Chickens Too Little?

So There you have it three would be better than 2 .... 10 is better than 3 ..... Heck just go get 20

My unlucky number is 3, so I would get 4.

one hen will not have the most happy or natural life as they are flock birds by nature and like interacting with each other (we can interact with them, but we can not be with them 24/7.

2 or more hens will be 100 percent happy.

I would never just buy 2 chicks, because its likely that one may die over the years and leave one very lonely chicken and its difficult to introduce a new hen then as they tent to fight.

Happy chicken keeping.

I agree with all, no less than two. We have had ducklings for about three weeks. I observing them as three together, and then as two, we lost one, they would be terribly lonely if you was ever reduced to only having one. They can not take being left alone.
Our little male, Spaz, can't be alone for a second. We have ordered two more little girls to ensure it never happens.

Welcome!!. We are getting ready to start our journey into raising chickens. The plan is to just get 3, since they will be illegal chickens ( Our neighborhood is anti chicken ), but we may end up with our maximum capacity of 4 ;), just because I always go for biggest number I'm allowed
