I have a friend getting chickens in the spring, and she is so... umpumped. It was her parent's idea, and after she said two... I was instantly a little bit taken aback. I told her that you pretty much have to get three. What is one dies? The other will be sad, and it could be very hard to replace. She replied : "We'll just find a new one if one dies. And who cares anyway? They are just stupid chickens, they smell and I didn't even want them."
I'm worried for the chickens. And I was thinking to myself this whole time : "Yeah, that's what you think now. Once you get the chickens, two is going to be nowhere close to enough, and you'll love them, and they will be your babies."
