Hello again, everyone. I just have one simple question, and all of you can help out with your own experiences.

Has a chicken ever treated you differently based on the color of shirt or pants that you wear?

If you remember me from the "It came from outta nowhere!!" post, I take care of some wild chickens. Some days, they are all sweet and loving, jumping all over me, and some days, they hesitantly approch me as if I'm a stranger! Anyone else experiment with this? Anyone know if chickens are colorblind, either?

Thanks in advance!!

Chickens see in color, i've never seen any effects of different color clothes i wear but i've been told that red can make them act more aggressively towards you.. I've never had a problem with it though.

Thats weird... Red seems to be the color they are most friendly to me... That, and maybe my orange motorcycle vest.

I have a pair of "lounge pants" aka pajama bottoms that I sometimes wear out in the morning--they are black with red and green christmas presents all over--they allllways peck at the red presents!

They like my painted toenails.

SO Doctor Cain, paint your toe nails and put on your best red dress and have fun with the chickens!

I have a bad habit of putting on the 1rst nail polish I see on one of my thumbs (to lazy to fifnish the job LOL) in advance chickens go nuts with any nail polish but when I wear an emerald green my Polish and my BR? basically attack my thumb lol. Especially the polish, she bites my thumb and never gives up. it doesnt hurt because she tries to get my whole thumb in her beak but it does get annoying. BEWARE DONT WEAR GREEN WHEN AROUND POULTRY!!!
