Isa brown x speckled susexx bantam

ISA Brown hens x Speckled Sussex rooster: probably half will look a bit like Rhode Island Reds (red with a black tail and maybe some sprinkled bits of black, but no white). The other half will probably be red and white like ISA Browns. Either gender chick can be either color.

ISA Brown rooster x Speckled Sussex hen: probably half the chicks will be the colors I listed above, and the other half will have the red replaced with white (so white with black, and white with white). The "white" may actually look yellowish or have little bits of black in it, rather than being the nice clean white you often see in pure breeds of white chickens. Again, either gender chick can be any of the colors.

When you cross a white-legged breed (Sussex) with a yellow-legged chicken (ISA Brown), you typically get chicks with white legs, no matter which was the mother or the father.
