I had Salmon Faverolles and Silkies hatch so he's not alone. I was hoping for 2 or 3.
I have a 12 week old blue isbar I think is a hen. Does any one have any idea how to tell at 12 weeks? I am not familiar with this breed.
Do you have a picture?
It should be very obvious by 12 weeks going by comb/wattles alone. Males will have large, reddish comb and long wattles, females will have a small and pale or black comb and very small wattles. Post a pic I'm sure someone here will give you an answer!
She is hard to get a picture of! but no wattles and the comb looks black still and very small. yay for a girl!
