Incase anyone on here isn't aware of it, there is a Isbar page on FB. There is a photo of eggs laid by the same hen and they are varying shades of green. I find it interesting that what you see today may not be the exact color you get tomorrow. Maybe that will put some minds at ease over the egg color.

hello everyone -- i've been too busy to be on BYC much lately, but dropping in to say hi! of my pure isbar pullets, only two are laying so far (two more to go) -- one minty green, one peach-colored. needless to say i won't be hatching the peach colored eggs, but she's a sweet girl.

and i searched for "isbar" on FB but didn't find anything chicken-related -- is there a different name for that page?

Well now I'm in a better mood Found this stash hiding in my flower bed. I guess I have a lot more layers than I thought, and definitely some green! ( there are Legbars in there too)

Just read the new review for this breed, and am extremely interested. I have searched online, can't find any breeders in my state. Any tips?

Wisconsin, but could travel to Minnesota, the U.P., and northern Illinois to pick up chicks.
