No not darn! He's way cool. Not that many dark skin naked necks around so he's a good bit more special than regular ones.
Dark skin is also dominant, but it gets affected by some genes like barring or Id, both repress skin pigmentation. Check under the wings of the chicks, you should see some with dark skin, some with normal yellow or pink skin(those did not get the black skin).
