I'm not sure about seeing people as their avatars... but I certainly do relate a certain name to a particular avatar. For example, people who keep changing theirs, like Gerbil, confuse me greatly and I get a bit disorientated.

LOL. I drew my avatar myself. My avatar on other sites is a little killdeer chick I drew. I call it the "happy killdeer chick". I wonder if people think I am that, ha ha. I don't feel like a cute duckling.
