Ok, I’m interested. How much do you want per egg? I am wanting Cream Legbars and Black Copper Marans if they are bred to remain pure. It looks like you’re keeping the roosters separate. And I’m interested in Olive Eggers also. I would have wanted the Welsummers also but if you’re not breeding those, thats Ok. Thanks for the pictures!!

I just got in a 8 ft roll of plastic fencing. I’m going to separate the run into six sections to keep the lines pure. The roosters are all separated from the hens for the purpose of keeping the lines pure or crossing what I want. I could breed the welsummers but that rooster has bad attitude. I’ll keep you up to date on my progress with the project. I’m very busy at work so it slows me down.

Sounds great. I’m not in a huge hurry, I would really like to plan for a late May or early June hatch. Do you have a price in mind for 6 Legbars, 6 Marans, and 6 Olive egger eggs? 18 eggs total

We can figure that out later. Let’s see how my plan works out. I’m getting a cabinet incubator so I may have extra chicks as well depending on how many I’m able to set

No worries! I have green egg layers now. Pink, cream, and different shades of tan also. I’m wanting to add the pretty blue, olive green, dark brown and the Welsummer orange color to my flock.

Although if the Silverudds lay that vibrant color green that you had in your egg carton, I’d likely want some of that too. My green layers are more of a soft green.
