ISO day-old duckling SOUTH of the quarantine zone in CA

I'm looking to get a single day-old duckling (I would also consider hatching eggs, but only 2) to raise as my ESA animal. This will be my 3rd one. It will get to live indoors, go shopping, and even go on vacations with me. My last one met an awesome musician after his concert, traveled to Vegas and Lake Mojave, and swam in the Colorado River!

Anyway, the two breeds I'm interested in are Blue Swedish and Indian Runner (preferably in fawn/white, blue, or harlequin). I also really like the calls and silkies, but I know they can't be shipped as singles, let alone day-old singles. The best scenario would be if I could pick it up. I'm willing to drive a few hours, if needed.

I am NOT in the quarantine zone, but I'm limited to the area south of Orange County. I know Fallbrook is a safe zone, so anywhere south of there is good, too.

Thanks for reading. I would appreciate any suggestions or tips, and especially ducklings!

Hi,

I am South and East of you in Arizona and I have Blue Swedish ducks, the light blue and the blue black type. I have a duck sitting on a clutch of eggs now, and I'm not exactly sure when they will hatch, but its got to be soon because it seems like she's been sitting on them for weeks. I also have Calls, Australian Spotted (slightly bigger than a Call), and Ancona. I also have a duckling that is a Blue Swedish/Fawn Indian Runner cross if you like that. He is beautiful and very friendly.

Thanks for responding. Sounds like you have every breed I'm considering. Where in Arizona are you? I would need to save up a little to make the drive there and back. How close do you think the swedish eggs are to hatching? Are your runners currently sitting/hatching, as well? The one cross you mentioned sounds intriguing. How old is it now, and do you have a pic of it? My biggest concern is the age. My intention is for it to be my ESA animal, so I don't want it to know it's a duck. It needs to imprint on me.
