Hello, I am looking for recommendations for good silkie breeders who can ship chicks. I'm looking for good quality birds that are out of show winning stock, not birds that just meet the breed standard! I'm not picky about color! I'd prefer to buy online and have them shipped but if you know of any local breeders in Oklahoma or surrounding areas please let me know! Thank you for your time!

A seller that I see often is Bobbi Porto he has some birds that are absolutely beautiful!

Showing is plenty of fun! I've never showed my birds(planning for the local poultry show, but have to wait until may of next year) but a close friend of mine has, and I helped her prepare her birds.

Another very reputable breeder is Sunshine Silkies. Her website isn't very great, and she's been inactive on BYC for years, so here's her Facebook link:

I'm not sure if she'll have chicks availibleble, but it's worth a shot!
