issue in last few days of hatch!! help

hi,
2 days ago, i could hear the smallest of my clutch of embden geese eggs peeping inside the shell, this was day 27. its now day 29, and nothing has happened and i cant hear any peeping? could this be normal as thedre is still hatch time left??

Fred, if you could hear it two days ago, I would expect an external pip at the very least by today. This is the hardest time in hatching when you hear them and then nothing. Some will tell you don't touch it let it be. Some will say pull it and candle to see what's going on. Both have good points. If you candle you will know if it's still alive or dead. If you do not, then it's a waiting game.

Remember opening the bator allows fresh drier air inside unless you live in a very humid area like we do here in FL.

yep, i think i will leave it, humidity is high in the bator at the moment, so dont want to comprimise the other eggs.
