Issues uploading photos.

I agree slow internet might be a factor since I’m having more trouble than most but I’ve been on here since July and this is the first problem I’ve had.

It is probably because of the update.
Technology keeps advancing.

Poor internet speed (especially poor upload speed) can cause uploads to fail, but I have a feeling that something else is behind the permission errors. Unfortunately I'm still unsure as to what is actually causing the errors, though.

Nobody has slower internet speeds than me, however my slow speed is quite consistent. (I have meters that check speed which I do often.) So there must be something else going on if sometimes they load, sometimes they don't with consistent slow speeds.

Have you been reading over on Xenforo? ( I don't know if you are a member there or not)

There are soooo many good threads from real computer nerds that explain how many different factors can cause issues. I got stuck reading there last night for a few hours.

So just to confirm, the "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action" error isn't specific to attachments uploaded while using Safari? I want to know specifically if attachments being uploaded with any browsers other than Safari are yielding the exact "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action" error.

Keep your devices up to date.

If your device is no longer (supported) able to run the newest software releases you will not be able to internet as well.

So, it's not browser or device based... that's helpful!

Only other things is if there is some commonality with location, internet connection, or something else.

A question (sorry if already answered): Where are the pictures originating? From a picture taken DIRECT from your device, or downloaded? If downloaded, from where and what is the filetype?

@TwoCrows, can you add your experiences here too?
