When the bbcode is on, the editor is grey, so you can't use the mountain icon, although you could use the attach files button correct? I never use attach files, I am too used to the mountain icon.

Yes, the attach files button works while in bb code mode. FWIW, it's a feature I quite like.

For these tests I am using both the icon and attach files, I am not noticing any differences in loading vs not loading.

So photos that say Attachment only are getting to the server?

Not sure what you're getting at.

The photos that say "you don't have permission to view this page" or whatever when you try to view them are on the server, but are automatically deleted after a while, like 24 hours I think. Then it'll yield an error saying something along the lines of "we couldn't find that page".
