Issues with eating and drinking with peepers on?

Recently fitted a hen with a painless peeper... had trouble eating or drinking from hanging feeder and waterer so I put them on the floor... seems to be easier for her but still not easy... any solutions? Or will Shen just get used to it?

She should become accustomed, but monitor to assure that she is eating and drinking enough.

I put out a small pail for the 3 hens with Pinless Peepers and already had small pails for water.

Mine had trouble eating too. GC

Mine had trouble also. I did a small metal pail for food and a bowl of water. Kinda a pain but worth it in the long run as she no longer picks on others.

Thanks! She seems to have adjusted as I have seen her pecking away and drinking, even if it was a bit tentative.

I have never even heard of these before... After googling the product I understand they stop feather plucking.. but are they a sort of punishment or retraining method? Are you using them for something else?

LOL! A Pinless Peeper is a device you slip into the nase of a chook. It stops her from seeing forward so she can't peck other chooks!

It's their nature though, right? Do you have very aggressive birds?
