Ist this a roo?

This gal (hopefully) is 23 weeks, has grown an impressive waddle and lately has been getting kinda aggressive toward me as I come in to check on a hurt chicken, mess with food etc. Could I be raising a roo?? Thanks

Looks like a pullet to me.

No, it's a sexlink hen. A rooster would be mostly white with a little red in the wing areas.

That's hen. Rounded feathers instead of saddle feathers. A 23 week old roo would have a much bigger comb and wattles.

She should lay eggs soon!

Yes , she is IF NOT already preparing to start laying . Waddles are just one of the signs " EGGS" are getting close ... LOL
