Hello
I joined BYC from Istanbul, Turkey. Oy is the first time in my life that I am looking after chicken. I have 8 hens and 2 rooster. They are with us now since 1 month, and I am very happy that all of them are still alive

. They are Bresse chicken( I know you can only use this name inFrance). Have a nice day...

I've heard Bresse are supposed to be the best tasting chicken but, I have never met one in person(chicken) or on a plate.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I raised dozens of breeds over the past 50 years, but Bresse is definitely one of the breeds that I've never had. I have seen photos of them, and they are certainly beautiful white chickens, and from all accounts, wonderful eating. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
