I got 2 silkie eggs, and 4 Rhode Island Reds from a neighbor for my broody hens on April 27. We candles the eggs on Thursday night and they seemed to be on point with developing, I’m so excited!

Is there anything else I should be doing besides waiting??

Also, I just candles them again, and can only see movement in one egg. Does that mean the other ones are in chick heaven already?

if its day 20 then leave them alone and check back on day 22. Its really hard but they need uninterrupted humidity which the hen can provide. I don't know about if they are alive or not but i would give them a chance

We have our first hatchling!! Still waiting on 4 more eggs 🤞
