It feels like scabs. What could it be?

I hope I'm overreacting... One of my pullets have these red scabs on her leg. She also lost some weight. She is molting right now so that might be why but could it be mites attacking her? She's been resting more, but otherwise normal. I didn't see this in others. Should I be worried?

To check for mites, take her off the roost after dark and use a flashlight to check her all over, around the vent, under wings, etc. for any mites. Some mites only come out at night while they are on the roosts. You can also use some sticky tape on the ends of roosts, wrap it around the roosts sticky side out, see if the tape catches anything overnight. The scabs on the legs could be minor abrasions from roosts, ramps, etc. or even another insect bite. It doesn't look serious, but you can dab some plain triple antibiotic ointment on them, or plain vaseline, if you want.
