I'd say tire sidewall. They are not that stiff.

Drill a 3" hole and it sits nicely on the flat spot. OD = 4", ID = 1 1/2"

I know, it's hard to remember the 'first hatchers' obsessions with it all,
especially after your thousands of hatchings.

AdaptaFlex is the brand, I don't even know why I have it. I have no reason as to why I would have needed it.
I was think of taking a rubber tire off one of my kids toys as those are nice and soft with a perfect round I.D.. As rough as they play with the toys they would never notice. :lol:
 
Ahhhhh. Sitting here working on my laptop and I hear chirping coming out of the bathroom off of the garage. I have 2 cabinets and 5 hatchers running out in the shop office. My 3rd cabinet, the fan went out of and replacement fan is out for delivery so I had to move those eggs into hatchers to incubate until the cabinet is back up. And I had to break out the 1588’s to help with the staggered hatching right now. So I have a couple of 1588’s in the house right now and babies it sounds like.
