i can't wait till spring when i will be incubating babies of my own...i'll probably sit in front of the incubator 24/7 for the full 16-18 days ...hahahaha

Congratz! I just hatched 90 of 135 yesterday. Lots of Browns, Tibetans, Rosettas, Manchurians, Tuxs, and A&M.

If I did not have customers in this week from all over the world I would have called in!!! Be a little hard to explain taking the bator in to work with me. Customers looking at me like what is this guy doing???

No body can resist baby Coturnix. Just totaly irresistable.

Besides you could have passed them off as your littlest helpers. Made them little signs. I'm sure it would have worked just fine.

I'm telling DH this as I am Typing and he is just cracking up.

Where's dem pic's. Aren't you home yet. We have been ever so patient waiting all day. Well I did go shopping. Had to buy Feed.

Just for your information every last one of those little things is in major trouble for making me wait to see them until day 19.

Oh by the way I just ordered another batch of eggs. Why do I do this to myself? I know it stresses me out but I just can't stop. Am I addicted?

I like the set up, been thinking about putting some wire on bottom of my tubs or fake bottoms or something.
Don't tell DH I'm getting ideas again. I'll hear - "You want me to build what?"(old fashioned Chicken Feeder on legs) or "What do you want built this time?" (Quail grow out pen) or "Now how do you want this cut out?" (Quail PVC feeder - wavy holes).

Have to think this out.

How big is it?
How many Chicks fit in it?
How long do you keep um in there?
You had to have had a thread on this before?

Now it's chore time.

It's not so much an addiction as a disease, and a very contagious disease at that! Just looking at those little babies makes me want to go prep the incubator and start hoarding eggs again. My youngest are four weeks old and were just let out into their outdoor run yesterday. Sniff...they grow so fast...just wait until your own start laying and you have all those eggs pressuring you to hatch them.
