AW he's so cute and sounds smart too. Could you try a no-crow collar first?

I have an old one. I tried it years ago when my barred rock pullet turned out to be a rooster. It didn’t muffle him enough to be able to keep him. I still have the collar and will see if it works better on this chicken, if needed), but I’m not holding out hope.
