It MOONED me!

Baby is 4 weeks old today. Yesterday, I got home from somewhere and saw the little one display for the first time. Of course, when I got out there with a camera, it had quit. But DS got to see it, too, and started laughing because mama chicken was staring at 'her' baby and looked like she was saying 'What is wrong with you!"

Anyhow, I was kneeling down outside their little pen today, admiring the little one, and it turned so it was facing away from me. Then up went the tail, down went the wings, and it mooned me!

I never knew they attempted to display so young.

I think someone recently had a pic of one a week old displaying... It is really cute when they do! But this little stinker turned around, stuck it's rear in the air, and... I swear it looked like it winked - and I'm not talking with it's eyes!

But I will try to get pics if I see it display again!
