I set the traps and made sure that I did not smell like a human! that I will catch it! Tomorrow I will be able to fix up the enclosure and hopefully not have to try and catch it again.

Did not catch the predator. I was able to keep my chickens alive for the night. Going to start work on fixing the holes around the coop. Seems like it may not have even came up the coop last night.

What kind of traps are you using? I’m sorry if I missed something other than glue traps?

I am using rabbit/raccoon/cat/big rat traps. The ones that have a diaganol flap down.

Last night I left my one remaining rooster in our new secured coop while we put our hens in the small coop. Traps were set outside the run and coop. Checked out the results this morning and it's good news! The rooster was alive and so were the hens. I caught a big rat in one of my traps, not the weasel. Going to be putting all of my chickens in their newly-fortified coop tonight. Traps are still going to be set. I heard someone firing a gun yesterday so maybe they shot the predator. My neighbors love to hunt anything and everything.

Left all of my remaining chickens out last night. They were all alive and safe in the morning! The predator has not made any proof of visiting lately. Maybe it moved on. Didn't catch anything in the traps today. Looks like the terrible attacks might be over for now.
