I just got my chicks on Thursday and as prepared as I thought I was I now know I wasn't nearly as ready as I thought and chicks are as scary as babies. I went to bed that first night sure rheyvwere going to be dead the bezt morning. I have questioned everything I thought I knew and reread everything I once read before. Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing, I'm scared as hell, I'm looking for my vilkage and I'm loving my new chicks!

Welcome! I understand being nervous with your firsts, but relax! Enjoy the baby experience. They don't stay little very long. If they're happy and healthy, you're doing fine. Learning by experience is the best way, if you ask me. You'll find, especially on here, that everyone has their own tips, tricks, and tweaks that work for them. You'll come up with some in time too. Poultry keeping is hugely rewarding. And if you get stuck, there are plenty of folks on here to help!
