The bear would have been enough to scare me right into the house and not come out without a big gun lol I have heard the "scream" you speak of it, it was a panther/crouger.

Well, I am POSITIVE what I heard was not feral/domesticated....breeding or fighting...there is just no doubt in my mind!!! Panther is what all the neighbors are predicting...they have lived here longer and seem to know more, and the BF's parents...said that right from the get go. To my knowledge there are no peacocks anywhere around here, not to say that one hasn't gotten loose, but I don't even know of anyone close...very small rural area here, everybody knows everybodys business....who has them...I know couple down road has chickens, but no Peacocks or game birds known...but I guess anything is surely possible!!! It wasn't really like a baby screaming...it was more like a woman, no doubt...utter, bone chilling, screeches, like in ultimate urgency...that is why I just thought I had gotten something in the trap, it was screaming for help to get out....but....the trap wasn't even touched...very mind boggling, and I am just haunted by the awful, awful sounds....I have lived surrounded by woods, cats, foxes, porcupines, coyotes, bears, possums, skunks and coons all of my life...but I have never heard what i did last night. Still shaking at the thought of it all....

Why isn't anyone suggesting Big Foot, or the cupacabrea??? LOL!!! I'm a huge paranormal x-file nut, even though I've never seen or heard anything myself, thank God!!!
