Yep that is one predator you need to watch for in FL if you have chickens. They love them it is what the breeding farm feed them so they have a real taste for them. When I lived in Royal Palm Beach I was next to a cannel we had a 10 footer in there. I have a pic of a 25 footer that was finally found and killed. That happened a few year ago.

tis the season! we had one eating our ducks a couple of weeks ago. here she is. i can't stand the things! one of the hazards of living in the sunshine state though Hurricanes and Alligators!
