First off, thank you all for helping me with my past questions since getting my ducklings last week, but when I search past BYC posts, I can't quite find an answer to an issue that one of my little girls is having. She seems to have something caught in a nostril. This has happened to another one of our ducklings, but she was able to finally blow it out (I had made another post like this) when we put her in a warm bath. They are 10 days old today, and she is a fawn and white runner.
We gave this little one the option for a bath today (in a metal painter's tray), but she really wasn't interested in diving/dunking like the other 4 were. She does dunk her head occasionally though, and she has made a few attempts at blowing bubbles. I also steeped some oregano flakes in warm water to make a "tea" for them today, but I was scared they would have too much, so I only left it down for a few minutes.
She is scratching her nostrils a lot, and sneezes/snorts a lot more than the others when she is just laying around. There doesn't seem to be anything coming out of her nose (discharge), but I think I may see something very small in there. They do have a dish deep enough to dunk their entire heads, should I just wait it out? Do they eventually just get the little piece of whatever it is out of their nose? She is eating, drinking, playing, and sleeping just like the others currently.
Thank you again.
