He's not big on grand gestures, man asked me to marry him in a taco bell drive thru.... "Wanna get married?..... you want hot sauce right?" He says he was hoping I wasn't paying attention and would just say "yes".

What temp is the house with the AC on? I don't care about the
quail, I care about the people.

I can't handle sleeping in anything over 70. My AC is on 67 right
now. It's 75 and a little humid out. roll

In Phoenix it isn't really even possible to keep your house down at 70 when the temps are 110+. We keep ours between 83 and 85. I would freeze at 67. You know, there are still people out here that don't have air conditioners at all and on days like today when it's 110 and humid the swamp coolers won't work at all...

Basically a giant fan that blows air thru big pads of wicking material. The wind from the fan evaporates the water, and the cooled air is blown thru the house. It only works in places with low humidity, but it's much less energy and $ to run it compaired with normal A/C which is refridigerated air.

They'll work perfectly for 20 years, but eventually the pump & motor blow, and then it's $500 to replace the unit.

I told him no, and next time he'd have to ask better. I think he asked weekly for like 9 months after that.

We'd gone on like 3 dates (one of which landed him in the hospital for a few days), and 3 months earlier I'd buried my 2nd husband. Now if he'd asked over orange chicken....
