It's a crockpot kind of day!

LOL, DH is out of town, so to be prepared, I hauled in a ton of firewood yesterday, got corn soup ready for the crockpot. It is now raining and 65 degrees.

Crock pot for us too! I just threw 3 of our first freezer campers in there with some onions, garlic, herbs, and carrots. I won't fee guilty until it starts to smell good!

Temp here is 63*...who'd have thought a couple of weeks ago, we were frozen here....

Ahhh bottom of the mountain. Been to Copps/Hamilton a time or 2 in my life. Used to shop all the time at the Limeridge Mall.

I think tomorrow's crockpot deliciosity will be 15 bean soup with bacon from the local farm... and some homemade 12 grain peasant loaf. Need to call Ms. Cook and see if she has any bacon....
