I bought 6 chicks from a feed store about 3 weeks ago. They seem to be about 4 weeks old now... 1 buff, 1 barred rock, 2 easter eggers, and 2 rhode island reds. I am keeping them in a giant cardboard box in my rv where it is very warm. I enjoy tending to their needs and watching their antics but look forward to their move to a coop outdoors. The coop should arrive in a few days. Did I read somewhere that they should not move into a coop until they get all their feathers?
I'm 64 and live on 0.75 acre with my mom and son. We are planting fruit trees, soon to plant vegetables, love Jesus, and my work is in news media... not fake... lol.
