Reptar's mood brightened as he looked to Lyra. "You do have a point. But I honestly can't understand why you've always been kind to me. I know I'm insufferable and am not favored in the slightest." He said lightly.

"Why wouldn't I be kind to you?" Lyra asked, looking to him and tilting her head a little "We may as well have been siblings with the way we were raised together and you do have your redeeming qualities. You simply do not show those off as much as your teasing side."

Reptar shook his head and gave a bird's equivalent of a shrug. "I know that, lovely Lyra. That's how you got to know me. But as a whole, I guess I don't like people knowing the true me. It's easier that way." He tried to explain to her.

Acan spotted the lovebirds making out in the Queen's gardens, and started blushing. He looked away and pretended not to notice, his face a new shade of red.

Vivian returned the kiss passionately.

What Sebastian had intended as a chaste kiss, quickly changed. As their lips parted, he stared at Vivian stunned speechless.
