Reptar said with humor. He then focused upon Lyra. "You can call us false all you like, it still doesn't change our feelings to protect you. Though we are the same age, you will always be our little sis. When your mother died, you become our priority, our one constant, the one thing we had left to lose. We'll only be satisfied when your true love match takes you from us." He said quietly, but sincerely.

"You are false only in the sense that you are not born to my family. When mother took you both in, you became my brothers." Lyra replied, staring right at him as she spoke those words. To her they were truth and nothing could change that. "Others may not see you as my brothers, but I always will"

Lyra chuckled softly and dipped her head in a single nod "Yes, hugging with wings would be difficult and quite a sight to see, but uncomfortable at best."
