Sino nodded gratefully, and replied "It would be Lady Angela. The one who wears the dark clothing like me. Her father was an executioner, and she worked in his office at another kingdom. I have grown to trust her, so all failure would be my responsibility."
"Well, if she does in the end work for you, her failure is her failure. If she cannot complete her job, then you will not take any of the blame, if nothing points to you." Lillia told him logically.

Sino nodded gratefully. He bowed down and replied "Advise me when you have decided whether to let her fill the position or not."

Lyra smiled and ate the meal, falling quiet as she did. It was a wonderful meal, but her thoughts were distracted still.

Aisling smiled and glanced to him again "I am not good at swimming, but I do like the idea of a picnic and a boat ride with you" She said softly.

Angela smiled and whispered conspiratorially "Well, I am no Lady either, my father was the executioner at the kingdom we lived in before." She said then moved to wash her hands off from the pie "So, I know what it is like to have to work for your supper and all of that. I like the way your dream sounds, running a tavern would need a hard worker."

" Yeah, it will be hard, but everything worth having takes hard work. I'm sorry I cried out there. I'm sorta embarrassed," she admitted, blushing a little. She washed her hands and face up, and grabbed a fresh apron, then gave the dirty one a cursory rinse to get the chunks off before draping it near the stove to dry. She would have to take the laundry down to the washerwomen eventually anyways. " I guess I just got a little overwhelmed. I haven't seen my mom since she sent me to apprentice here."

"I am just glad I was here to help you. It is never easy to be without your mother, I know" Angela said softly, looking down at her hands briefly then sighed softly and smiled at Emily again

Reptar did the same. Though he tried to speak with Leydren, here and there. But her short answers and obvious annoyance, soon had him drawing back and leaving her be. Normally, he'd goad her on to get a rise, but that was even starting to lose some of its appeal. Lyra's words were starting to prove true, much to his dismay. He stole glances at Lyra. Curious as to why she'd grown so quiet. "Is something vexing you, my dear?" He asked quietly.

"I'm very glad to hear that. Now if it just doesn't rain tomorrow, or else those plans will be for not.." Aiveron stated with some humor.

"No, I am just thinking" Lyra replied then shook her head and gave him a smile. He would know that that wasn't exactly truth probably by how quickly her smile faded. She glanced around the table, looking to the queen and the others gathered there.

Aisling smiled and nodded happily. She was hoping their plans didn't get called for rain. "Well, if it does rain, there is always the solarium." She said reasonably.
