Magatha looked away into the distance. " Yes, the young Queen bears a difficult burden, both within and without. Turmoil rages around her, and yet she must remain a rock for us all, or the kingdom, and what is left of our kind, will fall into obscurity. " Magatha lays a hand on Rayko's shoulder. " The queen bears many burdens for us, freeing us to bear our own. You do well to remember that she wants her people to be happy, and that in worrying about things you have no control over, you do yourself great injustice. You must learn to let go! " Magatha gazes into Rayko's eyes, searching.

Rayko appreciated the value of her words and took them to heart.

Vivian managed t smile a bit, then curtsied back, without saying anything. After a few seconds she inquired quietly "How are you?"

"I am quite well, thank you for asking. How does the day find you, my lady?" Rayko asked politely.

Vivian pondered the question, then iterated "I suppose I am well. Thank you, Rayko."

Rayko smiled and dipped his head. "That is well and good then. I was just sharing time with lady Martha and her lovely chicken. If you seek council with her, I shall go elsewhere." He replied softly.

Vivian said quietly "No, no. I came outside to enjoy the sight of the chickens and the flowers."

Magatha watched everything going on around her, keeping a close eye on her hens. Her hands were folded across her lap, and the cane lay leaning against her. She shifted slightly as she set her eyes on the young lady. " There is a heavy cloud over you, young lady. Do not let your skies be darkened. The storm will soon be over for you. Even the darkest night must yield to the coming of the day," she spoke gently to Vivian.

Vivian eyes watered up, what Magatha hadsad was true. She whimpered "When will I be happy once again?".

Vivian nodded, and looked for a flower to put in her hair.

Rayko glanced to her as she searched for a suitable flower, before crouching down to try and pet Martha's hens. He looked to Martha and asked softly, "What did you see when you looked into my eyes?"

" Vivian, only you can create your own happiness: it comes from within. You must choose to be happy, for nobody can create your happiness for you. Once you find that within yourself, you will be able to find what you seek more easily. Instead of thinking about how bad things are, dear, think about how good things could be. I know it is within your power!"
Turning again to Rayko, Magatha spoke." I see a man at a crossroads. You are struggling to find yourself in the upheaval of our country. You shoulder a burden for us as the night watchman, and for that, I thank you. Remember that no matter how small we feel, we all have important things we must do for the good of all, and important things for our own good. Soon, you will have a decision to make."
