"OK, OK, it was scary, really scary! Everyone, all the survivors of the humans, they were dead! And, and, and" Jade said "And then I saw, I saw," she paused nearly crying.

Lillia listened, and quickly had a perfectly logical reason for the dream.
"I'm pretty sure I know why you had that dream. Yesterday, most of us died out there. There was blood, death, and carnage. No one felt safe, your parents and your brother died, it just seemed like a day of death. Usually when a day is filled with things that horrifying your brain is thinking about that and only that, and so when you sleep your dreams usually aren't pleasant. It's very simple, just like when I meet a new person I usually dream about them because it is something new that my brain has processed." She explained to Jade logically.

"So, it was just a nightmare, because your brain had experienced so much death and sorrow in one day. My dream wasn't pleasant either."

You're alive and you were there, Xylo and Alton and Vivian were there and anyone who isn't dead was there. They were all people I care about," Jade said she wanted to believe it was just a dream, but couldn't help thinking it meant something.

"Do not worry about it. Besides, if it means something, what can you do to stop it? We may all die soon, but if that's fate then so be it."

"I guess you're right," Jade said she shut the book closed with a snap and flew it down to it's shelf and placed it in it's space "Let's start learning magic!" Jade said and smiled when she transformed.

Lillia smiled widely, glad that she could help Jade stop worrying.
"Yay, okay!" Lillia pulled out the book she had been reading earlier, the one her mother read.
"Do you think we should study this one first? It was the one mother used, and I've taken a look at it and it seems very informative."

Xylo walked in invisible. He decided to try to prank Lillia. He walked over to her, and grabbed her, lifting her up over his head and putting her down again. He fell to the floor, now visible, laughing.

Lillia shrieked a little from surprised and dropped the book. She looked at Xylo and put her hands on her hips.
"Xylo!" She shouted, half disapproving and half amused. She had a hard time trying not to smile.

Jade picked up the book and flipped through the pages "Have you seen what could happen if we mess up?" she asked "Turning into mist, disappearing forever, instant death!" she said worriedly.
