Lillia walked past the thrones and saw Xylo sitting there, but he had leather on one side of his face.
"Xylo, why do you have that on your face?" She asked him, confused.

Xylo said "I just thought it looked cool. That's why." He said and closed his eyes, pretending to think.

"Yes. I helped fight them." Xylo said, then closed his eyes again, hoping Lillia wouldn't notice his scar.

Lillia looked at Xylo closely. He was acting weird, like he was fatigued. Too fatigued for the rather small fight that just happened.

"So, it seems unlikely that the humans would assume they should just make a quick trip to our castle without any proof we're alive, right?" She said, sounding suspicious.

Lillia looked at Xylo closely. He was acting weird, like he was fatigued. Too fatigued for the rather small fight that just happened.

"So, it seems unlikely that the humans would assume they should just make a quick trip to our castle without any proof we're alive, right?" She said, sounding suspicious.

"Well, one tried to kill me yesterday, even after your mother sacrificed herself. So... I don't know. Uh, I'm going on a fly." Xylo said nervously.

"But why would they do it again, without any evidence we are even alive? The others never came back, no evidence. Heck, for all the humans know, they could still be searching. And, why would it suddenly happen right after you angrily left the library? And then you also have something covering your face? And I do know you love killing things." Lillia now looked very stern. She could hear the nervousness in his voice.

"But, I guess you can go flying. Have fun." She said with a fake smile and walked away, back to the library. She had to take care of Jade now that the threat had been removed.

Xylo said "Lillia, this is what happened." He pulled down the leather, exposing the fresh scar. He then transformed and flew away.
