( my husband. He'd be mad if I took a face picture. He's really tall, whereas in real life I'm very short and petite. I bet it is a little weird to see us together, he's well over 6 foot and I'm just barely 5 foot even. I based Acan's looks from him.)

Lillia sat in the library once again to read, but around an hour later found herself completely spacing out. She had 'read' most of the book but didn't even remember one page.

"Maybe...I should get some fresh air." Lillia thought out loud. She had been inside all day, mostly sitting down, which wasn't normal for her. Closing the book, she left the library to go visit her gardens. Acan always made it so beautiful and perfect.

(Haha, that's cute!)

Leydren came into the great hall and frowned at Reptar. Something was wrong. "You look like you've seen a ghost. Was it someone you knew? " She asked quietly.

Reptar looked up in surprise at her words. "No ghost. I've just been told there are no other kingdoms. It is confirmed, we're the last. That was Lyra's mission." He replied with disbelief.

Leydren gasped as she covered her mouth. "How dreadful! And to think I was joking with her like a ninny." She said with shock.

Reptar sighed as he patted the seat next to him. "Slice me up a piece of that ninny pie. For I too acted a fool." He stated matter-of-factly.

Leydren scoffed at Reptar, "The difference is, you always act a fool." She said with humor.

"Ah, I see how you are. Kick me while I'm down, Madam Secretary. But I'm the bad guy because I'm a buzzard. At least I wait until my prey is dead before I set talon and beak upon them. You however, bludgeoned them to submission with your little feet." Reptar said with conviction.

Leydren stared at Reptar disapprovingly for a moment, thinking. She then smiled slightly. "You just can't seem to help yourself, can you?" She asked as she came and sat down beside him. "So what are we waiting for? Is Lyra in speaking to the queen? " She asked curiously.

"Yep!" Reptar stated simply.

Leydren looked to Reptar and said, "You need to apologize to Vivian. She was very upset with you. Not that you care."

Reptar looked to Leydren and stated, "She was rude to my friend. Lyra asked her a question and she shifted and ignored her by preening herself. I'll make no apologies for that."

Leydren pinched Reptar's arm hard. "She's had a very hard life and her social skills are blocked by mistrust. Which your rudeness fed into, you brut!" She said angrily.

Reptar grunted at the abuse of his arm. "Owch! That's quite enough! I have never laid hand upon you, Madam Secretary. I'd appreciate the same courtesy." He said disgruntled.

"My title is Lady Leydren! Not Madam Secretary, you insufferable buzzard! I wonder how lady Lyra ever became friends with the likes of you?!" Leydren said, as she stood up. She glared down at him a few seconds, before she shifted into her Secretary Bird and flew away.

"Because she has a great sense of humor and has even better taste in her childhood companions!" Reptar called after Leydren with humor. But sighed softly to himself when he thought he was once again alone.

"I see you're making new friends. " Aiveron said sarcastically, as he came into the great hall. "So lady Lyra is finally back?" He asked curiously.

Reptar nodded and confirmed, "Yes, she's in the throne room speaking with the queen as we speak."

Aiveron looked to the closed doors a long moment. Before deciding to wait for her to come out to welcome her home. He did however sit across the room from Reptar.
