The hearty beef stew was so good. Sebastian savored evey bite. He'd glanced over here and there to smile at Vivian.
Vivian could not believe how much attention he paid to her. Not that she minded. She asked "Sebastian, why do you love me so. What have I done for you, other than helping you when the humans got you? The medics were the real heros."

Sino ordered on of the cooks "I have an important meeting with the Queen. I need lunch now, please." The cooks immediately started preparing two meals to go.
Angela bit her lip to stay silent and not give them away while the food was prepared.

"I've been secretly writing her poems for a while now. But I haven't signed them." Aiveron stated quietly. Relived that she wouldn't tell Reptar.
"Then sign one, how else will she know who it's from? Better yet, try to talk to her" Lyra insisted gently "You two could be the best of friends if you give yourselves a chance."

Aiveron listened with trepidation. He could easily talk to Lyra, but to Aisling, that filled him with fear. "I, couldn't take the rejection. What if she's disappointed? " He asked with concern.

"Love is not conditional. It is either there, or its not. I think for me, my close call was a pivotal moment in my life. For I was looking into the vast darkness of oblivion and I realized I hadn't even lived. I vowed in that moment, that should I pull though, I'd change that by finding my true happiness. Lady Vivian, you are that happiness to me. So when you saved me, you did so on more then one level. I do hope that explains it adequately?" Sebastian explained truthfully.

"What is she's ecstatic?" Lyra countered then frowned a little "Though if I remember her right, she is very shy." She thought about the problem then grinned a little "She is the librarian, right?"

Vivian nodded gratefully, and replied "It most certainly does. I appreciate your kind words." She finished with her last course, which was actually rather small, and set her plate away, signifying she was done. She sat politely and waited, knowing that she had barely eaten compared to the others.

Aiveron nodded slowly. "Yes, she is. What do you have planned?" He asked quietly. He was glad he finally had someone to talk to about this.

Sebastian finished up his cider and stew. He listened to the various conversations. Just enjoying being out with the populace once again.

"Do you have a poem or anything for her now?" Lyra asked then chuckled "and a book from the library?"
