"And I was informed that you came from a fallen kingdom. Many kingdoms fell, but there are rarely any survivors, it must be devastating for you." Lillia said solemnly. "If I may ask, what was your occupation at the castle?"
Gjøran said " I was a scout or assassin. Or an archer whenever we were attacked. The bow is my strongest weapon."
 
Sino grabbed the two plates, handing one to her, and rushed back outside, grinning for the first time in weeks.
Angela took the plate and glanced to the workers, bowing her head then following him out of the room and to the garden once more

Lillia nodded subtly as she listened.
"Are you generally healthy? You traveled far, I am sure you are at least fatigued."
 
"It is completely fine. I am fine. Just lodging, if possible." Gjøran replied.
"I will order the servants to prepare a room for you to stay in, then. You will not be offered a job until we know we can trust you. Just because you're one of us doesn't mean you can't be on the humans' side." Lillia told him sternly.
 
Lyra nodded and smiled, finishing her meal after that was decided. 

Aiveron also finished and fished the wax sealed parchment out of his breast pocket. He looked to Lyra nervously, before he stood up. His stomach felt like it had catapulted to his throat. He wistfully looked to Aisling and whispered to Lyra, "Wish me luck. "
