Acan went back to work in the Queen's gardens, leaving Jeffrey to enjoy himself but warning him to come back straightaway when he was done with lunch. Jeffrey was a bit more intimidated once Acan had left.
Emily saw him out there eating and chanced coming out to ask if he would help her gather the veggies needed for the feast being prepared tonight, for they as of yet needed more parsnips and a few more potatoes. Jeffrey took it as an opportunity to look important in front of the ladies, who were laughing at his awkward misplaced bravado. Emily and Jeffrey went to the vegetable patch.

Dan and Magatha were slowly eating, Dan was especially savouring the simple hearty beef stew, as he had been away and had subsisted on mostly carrion and roots and berries. He was very pleased to have a pint of ale again. Magatha was very pleased to have her husband back with her again safe and sound. She worried about him, he wasn't young either. Generally men in their 80s didn't cavort across the countryside at the whim of their wife, but then again, most men weren't really birds either. They made small talk, and a few people welcomed Dan back to the flock, and once they finished, Dan brought both of their plates to the kitchen, then they both shifted and fluttered away contentedly, squaking their chattering "brak brak brak?" as magpies do when they fly.

Aiveron straightened and walked over to Aisling with apparent confidence. Once to the right of her chair, he softly cleared his throat to politely gain her attention.
Aisling looked to him and smiled shyly. "Hello"

"So, why did you not say you were a Prince right from the start? I know that with a fallen kingdom royal bloodlines start to have little worth, but it is still considered important information." Lillia said, a little suspicious.
"I hope you do not find it indecent for me to question if you are truthful or not, but I know that there are many individuals who would always take the chance to lie about their blood. So, I hope you understand."
Gjøran was frustrated on the inside, but didn't let it show. He answered "Queen, in my humble opinion, I believe that since I didn't rule because my parents were still alive, I should make myself useful in some other way. I helped the general strategize, which in the end had no effect on us winning, for we lost badly. I know it seems strange that a prince wouldn't act more princely I suppose, but I am that way, and I do not see that foresee that changing."

( jabba, your prince blew it. Not announcing himself, lack of honorifics, lack of any royal etiquette, use of magic like that, sowing immediate distrust with the Queen, you have a very long row to haul if you were hoping to marry the queen.)

(He wasn't trying to marry the queen though.)

Aisling looked to him and smiled shyly. "Hello"

"Hello, lady Aisling. I.....wrote....this for you." Aiveron replied awkwardly, before he handed her the folded parchment. He figited a moment longer, before he turned to leave.

Leydren leaned into Lyra and asked curiously, "What's that all about? "

Aisling looked at the paper, opening it to read it then looking after Aivron in surprise. "It's you?" She asked then looked at the paper again before standing

"Watch and see" Lyra said with a quiet chuckle as she watched the pair
