Dan served Magatha, then himself, making sure she was taken care of first before he sat back down. " Oh don't go making too much of a fuss over little old me," waved off Magatha, but they both knew she liked being fussed over a little bit, and that Dan rather enjoyed doting on her.
(You know, for someone who's really serious about details, I find it funny how Dan is in his 80's when usually the highest life expectancy of a person in medieval times was around 70 at most.

"Her name is Aisling and she has lived here all her life Reptar" Lyra said quietly "She is shy, so do not go and upset her."

Aisling herself barely noted Reptar's arrival, her attention stayed on the queen, the food or Aivron himself as they started filling their plates to eat. "That is does, I do believe the kitchen staff has outdone themselves."

"See, that there explains your visit today. You did seek me out on Aiveron's behalf and you were dishonest about it. Let me guess, you were supposed to detain me? Well, you needn't of bothered, for I was thoroughly occupied, before you wasted your precious time upon me, darling sister." Reptar replied quietly, as he busied himself with the placement of his napkin in his lap. By the time he looked over to Lyra, he'd schooled expression so that all traces of hurt were no longer evident. In fact, he even smiled as he asked politely, "Would you like Beef or pork, my Lady? Either one, looks like an excellent choice."

Aiveron smiled and nodded, "That they did. They've gone above and beyond." He said as their drinks were being poured.

( while that is true, people who lived in castle life tended to do a bit better than the average peasant. Plus, a henwife in medieval lore is traditionally a "wise woman", or good witch if you will, usually married with a happy husband who is fully supportive of her. Magpies are seen as lucky in pairs during medieval times as well, whereas single magpies were considered bad luck. In the stories, they are always old.)

(But this role play contains magic, not luck, and there's no spell to make you live longer. And with all the pampering in the world, when you're 80 you still probably need certain medicines, and there are also rather common things that occur such as multiple types of cancer, having horrible eyesight (would effect your daily performance), liver or heart failure, et cetera. And being wise doesn't save your life. Not saying you should kill him off, but you made a mistake, and OF COURSE that means you're an awful role player!

(School time, role play's paused again until I get back, which will either be Tuesday night or some time Wednesday.)

(Also, just to clarify real quick, I was joking when I said you made a mistake and you're an awful role player. I used the roll-eyes thing to specify I was being sarcastic.
And, goodnight.)
