"See, that there explains your visit today. You did seek me out on Aiveron's behalf and you were dishonest about it. Let me guess, you were supposed to detain me? Well, you needn't of bothered, for I was thoroughly occupied, before you wasted your precious time upon me, darling sister." Reptar replied quietly, as he busied himself with the placement of his napkin in his lap. By the time he looked over to Lyra, he'd schooled expression so that all traces of hurt were no longer evident. In fact, he even smiled as he asked politely, "Would you like Beef or pork, my Lady? Either one, looks like an excellent choice."
~
Aiveron smiled and nodded, "That they did. They've gone above and beyond." He said as their drinks were being poured.
"He did not ask me to find you and I did tell you he was doing something else.I did want to check on you given the recent attacks." Lyra countered and looked to Reptar then sighed "Given the way you have scared off his other interests, I did want to check to make sure they had a chance to talk first, she does seem to be a good female. I doubt you could turn her head even if you tried to." She said then smiled a little "I think the beef tonight."

Aisling smiled and glanced around he room again then looked back to Aiveron "I am glad you finally spoke to me in more than just poems."
Sino started eating too, politely yet quickly.
Angela ate quietly, watching the others curiously

Sino finished his roast and moved on to his rice, which was almost depleted.

Reptar dutifully served Lyra two slices of succulent roast beef and spooned the rich broth over it and the root vegetables he'd also added. As he set her plate back down, he looked to her and said, "With your words, you make me sound cruel and heartless. I do what I do for the opposite reason. I love our brother and I will not see him hurt like that again. " He looked to her a long moment, before he added, "If you vouch for her, then I'll give her utmost respect. For I value you opinion very much, Lyra."
~
Aiveron smiled happily and admitted, "As am I, lady Aisling. Though in your presence, I am finding I'm at a bit if a disadvantage. Simply because, you render me speechless."

"I do not see you as cruel and heartless." Lyra said with a frown. "I have never seen you as that." She sighed and sat back, bringing a hand up to rub her temple "I just cannot say what I want to to you today. It keeps coming out wrong." She said with a frown.

~~~
Aisling blushed and looked down at her lap again, smiling "You flatter me Aiveron." She said softly. "I am not that frightening to you, am I?"
~~
Sino replied conversationally "I suppose it would have to be a good steak. How about you?"
Angela thought about that for a minute then shrugged "I rather like fried squirrel. Have you ever tried that?"
Reptar finished getting his plate with beef and vegetables. He set it down and looked to Lyra. "Perhaps the fault is not with you, but me. I'm sorry, I've upset you, Lyra. I've been on edge of late." He replied honestly. He glanced out over the table and sighed softly.
~~
"No, not at all. Is more of a fear of saying something wrong. With the written word, you have plenty of time to ponder your next words. If that makes sense. That and your beauty is very breathtaking, when you add to that your sharp intellect, I find you astounding. Here I am, I'm probably rambling on, when I should have held my tounge. " Aiveron replied softly with a flush. He looked to Aisling shyly, before he played with the napkin on his lap.
